<HTML>We were extremely lucky on the 8 of March:

The rocky body 2002 EM7 was moving away from the sun and hard to see when it sped by earth only 450,000 kilometers away on March 8, 2002. The MIT Lincoln Laboratory finally got a look at it on March 12 and estimatd it is between 50 to 100 meters in diameter, one of the largest near-miss asteroids known.

The moon is 384,400 kilometers away.
