'Apart from the fact that 82% of the respondents believe that England should phase out ICE sales earlier than 2035, 65% of the study’s participants were also in support of a 2030 phase-out date. Among the respondents, 96% noted that an earlier phase-out date for gas cars would have a positive impact on public health. Over 70% of the study’s participants also remarked that an earlier phase-out date for gas cars would have positive effects on the UK economy.

Even more interestingly, 74% of the study’s respondents agree that the auto industry would be able to supply electric cars to meet the market’s demand. A majority (78.5%) of the survey’s participants further noted that they do not believe an earlier phase-out date would put unfair pressure on the region’s automakers..'
