Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Linas Linkevi?ius, said that the Ukrainian businessman and Lithuanian honorary consul, Mykola Zelenec, was “kidnapped and brutally killed by terrorists” reported euromaidanpress.com.

“With deep sorrow just learned about Lithuania’s honorary consul in Luhansk Mr Mykola Zelenec kidnapped &brutally killed by terrorists there” wrote Lithuanian minister of foreign affairs Linas Linkevi?ius.

“We lost a sincere friend of Lithuania and Ukraine who had a lot of plans for the development of the two countries, including cultural and business ties. We condemn this crime and we believe that it will be investigated and those responsible prosecuted and punished persons” was written in official comment of the Lithuanian foreign ministry.

The Lithuanian president, Dalia Grybauskait? also expressed her condolences and said: “I am shocked by the news. Myself and the people of Lithuania on behalf of the deceased to express condolences to the family and loved ones”.

The businessman Mykola Zelenec was kidnapped few days ago by a group of armed terrorists. Unfortunately, his location was unknown. and today, he was brutally murdered by the terrorists.'
